I was in Hamburg when Jeremy sent me a picture of Hamilton’s derelict Colonial building where he intended to wheat paste a retrospective of my work. I could only respond with yes, make it good – giving full trust that he’d know how to best present my work in that space. From nearly 200 of my images, he selected a series of 9 Fire photograms to symbolize setting fire to corporate capitalism and an absent landlord hoarding a vacant building amid a housing and homeless crisis. Jeremy printed and pasted a beautiful exhibition of my work, and within a month Colonial Landlord had it painted over. It left an impression, while also revealing the corporate need to colonize and dominate public space and depress the neighborhood.

Working with Jeremy on his Wheat Paste anti Gallery project amongst a phenomenal group of artists and pasters is a constant adventure and learning experience. Jeremy has clear-eyed vision and drive, and manifests ideas that demonstrate skill, talent, creative energy, and knowledge that he generously shares and gives back to community. Since day one, he’s inspired, motivated, encouraged, and challenged me to push my artistry to new heights I could never have imagined. Anyway! Mad love and respect for Jeremy Lynch.
